Our kitchen sink drain had become almost clogged, even though we'd had it snaked about a year ago...by someone from your company. This time, Don C., the plumber who was sent to us, did a very thorough job, snaking not only from the trap under the sink, but also from the clean out plug in the basement, all the way to the main drainage stack. He was here for almost three hours! From the picture he showed me of the inside of the lower section of the pipe, the previous attempt was obviously not done as thoroughly. There was a decades long buildup of grease, hair and general gunk. He also pointed out that this drain pipe, which crosses from one side of the house to the other, was installed improperly... almost perfectly level. He gave us a quote to replace the current setup, and also recommended the appropriate type of enzymatic cleaner to treat the pipes with until we can afford to do the remedial work. Don was very friendly and even our dog liked him!!

We have an 1900 yr old home that we purchased that has many baths and sinks and the original piping has had multiple new additions over many years. The first two weeks we had 0 heat, one toilet that worked and no hot water and a huge drain leak in the second floor main bath. With the major drain hole and galvanized piping it made this plumbing a nightmare. Additionally, having a boiler that required updates and repairs even though it is only a few years old, Jim got it working. Jim spent several trips attacking one issue at a time and helped us identify what things he could find to update and get things on track. While he was able to fix most in the first few days, this home has buried plumbing in the old walls and we still have future work to do to fix flow issues. In the first few days, he fixed so many of our major issues. For all of his time here and his ability to troubleshoot we knew he was going above and beyond. A good plumber that works as hard as he did doing three floors of work and investigation made us more confident that we have the right company. As much as anyone could he made every attempt to get it right. Will have a lot more work for The Plumber and Jim if he isn’t sick of us yet. When can we get to the remodeling of our kitchen I know he will get the plumbing done right. Thanks for your time, patience and expertise helping us get to a much more functional state. Heat and hot water and running toilets should never be taken for granted!

My struggle began a few “daze” ago, with what I thought was a simple clog in our kitchen sink drain pipe. The clog was located in the pipe area, leading behind the wall, into the basement main outlet. So, I used my small snake auger, with my drill attached. I couldn’t clear the obstruction, no matter how hard I tried. Next, I go to Home Depot & rent a heavy duty, electric, auto-feed snake. After about 45 minutes of that madness, the snake’s tip finally snapped off, inside the 1-1/2” PVC pipe. Dang It!!! Fast Forward; The Home Depot tool rental department Guy suggested I give Advanced Sewer a call. Next day, Shawn shows up and runs a camera into the system, opens up the connecting pipe system in our basement, runs the snake and clears out what seemed like a century’s worth of hardened grease buildup. Shawn was Awesome! Solved our issue in no time flat. He was very professional and knowledgeable. A great guy too. I highly recommend Advanced Sewer & Drain Cleaning.
